Curriculum Development Committee
The Academic council or Curriculum development committee of the institution functions for achieving effective standards of good practices in the curriculum transactions. The committee monitors the effective implementation of the curriculum and makes appropriate recommendations. The committee regularly meets and discusses the current status of curriculum transactions aimed at improving academic standards. The committee assists in the planning and development of the educational programs in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and program learning objectives of the institution and university.
Objectives

Ø To provide suitable resources for optimum curriculum transaction.

Functions
Ø Plan and organize regular in-house curriculum meetings
Ø Discuss about the strategies and procedures of curriculum implementation.
Ø Equip teachers to utilize their potential in curriculum transaction.
Ø Keeping informed about the curriculum modifications.
Ø Appraise the activities of the teachers with respect to academic areas
Ø Assuring adequate support for the teachers in the matters of curriculum implementation
Ø Reviewing and reflecting the academic standards of the institution,
